Markaids Food Ingredient Supplier FAQs

Markaids research, produce and distribute speciality food ingredients to food manufacturers & processors in Malaysia and Singapore.

They are what we call technical ingredients, which are used in very small dosages but have a huge impact on the food & beverage products that we eat every day.

Examples of speciality food ingredients include texturisers, flavour boosters, spice extracts and sweeteners, natural colours, and other ingredients for nutrition.

Speciality food ingredients are often used by food and beverage manufacturers from large to small, as well as central kitchens.

It improves food & beverage product performances by providing taste, texture, appearance, nutrition and more.

Markaids is a food science & technology company in Malaysia. We are fully equipped with an in-house Innovation centre for R&D, Quality Control and all our products are Halal certified. Many of our customers do not have a big centre or quality control, and our speciality food ingredients are used in very small dosage, or even less than 1%. So, it is not so convenient for them to blend small dosages for their use. So we decided to blend them together, to make them easier for them to use, especially for the SME. What makes us most unique is our highly technical approach, and our desire to really understand our customers’ problems.

Within our team, we train and emphasise a deep scientific knowledge of the applications and processes. Our first core value is to then focus on the customer – so we aim for really high standards of support and service. And we bring to that a firm belief in quality and constant innovation. This foundation, together with our great people, is what we believe makes Markaids’ products and services different.
